SSHaker operates on a principle of absolute data localization and minimal collection. We DO NOT collect, store, or transmit your host endpoints, SSH keys, passwords, scripts, or terminal outputs to our servers. That data never leaves your device unless you manually initiate a backup.
To improve SSHaker, we may collect basic usage analytics and crash reports (via Sentry). This data is anonymized and stripped of any server identifiers or sensitive configuration details. Sentry crash reporting is strictly opt-in.
All sensitive configuration data stored inside the App is encrypted using robust on-device biometrics and cryptographic keys managed securely by Apple's Keychain or Android's Secure Keystore.
The only third-party network requests the app makes are to Apple/Google for subscription status (StoreKit/Play Billing) and optional Sentry error tracking if permitted.
If you have any questions regarding how your data is handled, please contact our privacy officer at privacy@sshaker.net.
